Parking Perspectives was the East of England regional sponsor for the Transport Planning Society’s Annual Quiz.
The quiz, held each year across a range of simultaneous venues in the UK and beyond, brings transport planners together for a social evening of quizzing and networking.
At this year’s event, held on 26 March, Parking Perspectives sponsored the regional prize for the East of England’s teams, gathered in Cambridge. Our own Graham James was also the quizmaster there.
Over nine gruelling rounds – naturally including a transport round – a stellar performance by team “00 MPH” from KMC Transport Planning brought them out on top in Cambridge. Parking Perspectives’ Director Andrew Potter presented them with their certificate and prize.
As the quiz progressed, eyes were also on the international leaderboard as Team 00 MPH’s success put them in in the running for the overall trophy. In a close race, however, they were pipped by “Will Model for Cash”, from Ireland’s National Transport Authority in Dublin. Team 00 MPH secured joint third place, only three points behind.
Congratulations to both teams!
